Feng Shui
Le Feng Shui, which means wind and water, is both an art form, and a traditional Chinese science. It was born over 7000 years ago in imperial China. Feng Shui masters taught noble families the art of living happily, harmoniously, and in prosperity. These masters were listened to, and respected. Feng Shui is more present than ever before in today’s Asia. No large company, bank, or building can be undertaken without first consulting one or more Feng Shui Masters. The place is carefully studied and observed. The surrounding area is deciphered, and the interior is optimized. This is especially the case in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. These places have been conceived and built according to the principles of Feng Shui. Just as cosmic energy (Chi or Qi) moves through our body, it also moves through our environment, our work places, and homes. Yoga, martial arts, acupuncture, are known to balance individual energy and to help use this energy. In the same way, Feng Shui, like an « environmental acupuncture » will balance the Chi or Qi in your global environment. In this way we will act efficiently towards satisfaction of the eight aspirations of existence. These are, the career or professional perspectives, knowledge or education, prosperity, which corresponds to money and wealth, fame, recognition and celebrity, health, familial fulfillment, marriage, and conjugal satisfaction, children, the relationships with those children and their success, mentors or outside help. Feng Shui made its appearance in the West during the 1960’s along with Asian refugees. Its development has not slowed since. It is thus not a surprise to learn that many figures of Western society call on the science of Feng Shui. If we want evidence.. Did the Hong Kong stock market office of the Crédit Lyonnais not, in 1992, order a Feng Shui provisional plan treating the market’s behavior in the coming year ? and the plan, known as the "Indice Feng Shui", turn out to be incredibly accurate? Did Bill Clinton and his wife had the Oval Office laid out according to Feng Shui precepts ? Were British Airways headquarters conceived entirely upon the basis of Feng Shui expertise ?
