These different names all represent the same symbol.
Symbol : Key to eternal life. – Vital breath (prana), therefore its name “cross of life”. – Represents the chief, the initiator, the one who has the power of decision and responsibility.
Traditionally: it favours the penetration of vital force of health of the cells. It is a balancing element which allows circulation of energy around the body.
It can be said that the vitalising attributes are due to absorption and influence. The accumulation of the vital force, raising influences, power, benediction and other fluxes come from other dimensions.
