The royal sepulchre of Tutankhamun was found nearly intact, along with a number of wondrous objects.
Amongst these objects was a set of three sceptres, the crook and flail and a smaller set, probably designed when he ascended the throne as a child.
The cross and the flail, originally Osiris beneficial attributes, were the symbols of Egyptian monarchy.
